Tottenham Hotspur will not sell Kane to a Premier League rival

Tottenham Hotspur are more than confident that when the time comes for Harry Kane to leave then it will be for a club outside England.

Harry Kane has achieved wonders so far during his tenure at Tottenham Hotspur on an individual level. However, the English striker has not yet seen silverware so far in his career despite scoring over 200 goals for Spurs. However, with Jose Mourinho at the helm, there is some hope that the Special One could deliver Tottenham their first piece of silverware after a decade of trophyless seasons.

However, Daniel Levy, the CEO of Tottenham is aware that Kane could be on a move out from north London in a season or two despite being on a contract until the summer of 2024. The Athletic reports that Tottenham Hotspur will not keep Harry Kane against his wishes at the club, however, the club and its directors have no plans of letting the striker leave for another Premier League rival.

In simpler terms, Spurs are willing to let Harry Kane leave for a foreign club. The Premier League has never been so competitive and Daniel Levy does not want to take the risk of offloading the club’s greatest ever striker to another Premier League rival. Having said that, only a move out of England will be on the cards for Harry Kane.

Real Madrid has shown interest in signing the striker in the past and now Los Blancos have once again reignited their interest in Kane. The Spanish based club has added Harry Kane to a list of potential targets for the summer of 2022 when Karim Benzema‘s contract runs out. Luka Jovic who was tipped to be the heir of Benzema has not really lived up to the expectations of Zinedine Zidane. With Jovic falling down the pecking order, Real are on the lookout for a striker to replace Benzema.
