Should Juventus consider appointing Zinedine Zidane next season?

Zinedine Zidane has been linked with an exit from Real Madrid at the end of the season. Should Juventus consider appointing the Frenchman?

Juventus find themselves in deep troubled waters after a humiliating defeat to AC Milan on home soil. The 0-3 defeat to the Rossoneri has cast a shadow of doubt over qualifying for the UEFA Champions League next season.

The 2020/21 season has been a gamble for Juventus that has not gone to plan. The appointment of Andrea Pirlo at the start of the season to replace Maurizio Sarri was questionable and the results speak for themselves.

After nine years of domestic dominance, the Old Lady of Turin will not be lifting her 10th consecutive Scudetto after Antonio Conte‘s Inter Milan were crowned runaway league leaders for the first time since 2010.

Andrea Pirlo’s lack of experience and tactical know-how has drawn worldwide criticism amongst the Juve faithful and there have been talks of parting ways with the 41-year-old at the end of the season, as per reports.

Andrea Agnelli and Pavel Nedved will be looking into potential candidates to replace Pirlo and one of the most prominent names on the list of managers is Zinedine Zidane of Real Madrid.

The Frenchman has incurred a difficult second tenure with Los Blancos when compared to his first stint that included a historic European three-peat. However, this season, Zidane’s camp has been marred with over 55+ injuries and with no signings in the past three transfer windows.

Real are still in the race to defend the La Liga title, however, Zinedine Zidane might part ways at the end of the season despite potentially winning the league. So far, the 48-year-old has not provided any significant details over his future at the Spanish capital and has left his future up in the air of uncertainty.

If Juventus are to appoint the Frenchman next season to replace Andrea Pirlo, what does Zinedine Zidane offer that can transform the team back into serial winners?
