Sergio Ramos of Real Madrid has recommended the club three signings that he seems fit for the club to take on the 2020/21 season

Sergio Ramos of Real Madrid has entered the final year of his contract. The Spaniard’s contract is set to expire in the summer of 2021, however, rumours state that the club and the player are looking forward to an extension. Ramos at 34, is the captain of the Spanish national team and Real Madrid, the player has a fair share in the decision-making process at both sides.

According to Don Balon, Ramos has requested Zinedine Zidane and Florentino Perez to consider three signings in the coming years. The first on the list is RB Leipzig’s star player Daniel Olmo. The Spanish footballer is versatile and can play either as a winger, central attacking midfielder, or a false nine. Olmo has proven his worth this season in the Bundesliga and the Champions League.

Olmo’s short tenure at Leipzig has garnered attention from the top European clubs who are eager to compete for his signature. At 22, the forward has the world at his feet and it all depends where he signs next. Ramos is eager on working with his fellow compatriot at the Bernabeu, however, the asking fee from Leipzig might seem to be an issue for Los Blancos.

The second on the list is Pau Torres of Villarreal. The left-footed centre-back is most likely to partner Ramos in the Euros as was seen against Germany when the youngster paired up with the captain in the UEFA Nations League. Torress, a proper modern-day centre-back, would certainly be a huge asset to Real.

Torres could possibly rotate with Ramos as the left-footed centre back could form a deadly partnership with either Marcelo or Ferland Mendy on the left-wing as the player can easily pass the ball down the channel with his preferred foot. Zidane could help Torres reach his true potential, however, a secondary role might be an issue as the player will be looking for regular first-team football.

The last player on the list is Fabian Ruiz. The Napoli midfielder had made a name for himself earlier in the season, however, the abrupt break due to COVID-19 saw all the hype fade away. Ruiz has been linked with the Premier League and Barcelona this summer, however, his asking price once again seems to be an issue. His technical skillset and dribbling qualities would be useful at Madrid, however, with the return of Odegaard it seems highly unlikely that Real would opt for Fabian.
