Real Madrid target has assured the club that he is willing to wait for another year in order to secure his dream move

Real Madrid has created a reputation for themselves when it comes to signing some of the brightest prospects of world football. The Spanish club has invested in the likes of Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo and Takefusa Kubo, Martin Odegaard, Luka Jovic, and so on. These players are now part of the senior side of the Madrid setup and have been able to mark their presence in the big games for Los Blancos.

Eduardo Camavinga has gathered interest from the Spanish Champions and they were willing to land the teenage sensation in the present transfer window but the move could not take place this summer due to the losses incurred during the pandemic. It has now been rumoured that he will sign for Los Blancos next summer

Real were reportedly the first club to have approached the teenager over a potential move to the Santiago Bernabeu. The exploits of the 17-year-old had convinced the Madrid authorities to lineup a transfer for the Angola-born player as many believe he is the ideal replacement for Casemiro.

The French international made his club debut at 16 years of age for his present club Rennes. With regular game time at Roazhon Park, the teenager has been well oriented with first-team football. The defensive midfielder made 25 appearances for the club last season clocking over 2000 minutes in the Rennes shirt. The youngster has been off to a bright start in the ongoing season as he scored the winner against Montepellier last month.

Camavinga has also been able to represent the French National team since playing professional football. At 17, he became the youngest player to play for the senior team since Maurice Gastiger in 1914 at 17 years 9 months, and 29 days old. The Rennes midfielder came on as a substitute for N’Golo Kante against Croatia.

The Angola born teenager has been making the right noise in his young professional career. At 17, the player already has interest from one of the biggest clubs of European Football.

It has been reported that the player had contacted¬† Los Blancos to convey a message of his commitment to the club’s future. This assurance call also means that the teenager is convinced on the prospect of joining Zidan in the near future.

Real Madrid would be hoping that the teenage sensation is able to make his way to Santiago Bernabeu as the club is lacking a replacement for their defensive midfielder Casemiro who has had no relief from his defensive duties last season. Federico Valverde has been a decent cover for Casemiro but lacks the defensive prowess of the Brazilian. Camavinga has the technical skillset on the ball as well and could offer Zinedine Zidane a different tactical set up in the midfield.
