Real Madrid are planning on an insane transfer as the Spanish supergiants are willing to sign Liverpool striker next summer

Real Madrid has often been linked with some of the star members of the Liverpool side as players like Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah have been on the radar of Los Blancos time and time again. However, both players have not reciprocated the alleged interest and instead have opted to stay back at the Anfield Stadium.

According to the latest reports, The Spanish champions are now considering making a move for one of the star forwards of Klopp’s side as the club look to sign Roberto Firmino next summer. The  Brazilian forward is one of the integral members of the Red’s attacking setup as the 29-year-old has been persistent in creating chances in the final third.

The former Hoffenheim man may not have scored consistently last season but has often stepped up whenever his team has been in trouble in front of the goal. Much like Benzema, the forward generally plays as a false nine as he drops deep to support his other teammates Salah and Mane in scoring the goals for the team.

Manager Jurgen Klopp will have to take a big decision regarding the future of the club’s attack as he might have to part ways with the Brazilian next summer. The Reds do have sufficient backup options as they have the likes of Takumi Minamino, Diago Jota, and most importantly a second striker in the form of Divock Origi.

On the other hand, Real Madrid might be looking to sign Firmino to replace their main striker Karim Benzema as the French striker will turn 33 this December and is unlikely to hit peak form. Zidane’s side has already experimented with their reserve striker Luka Jovic and have not yet received favourable results through the performances of the Serbian international.

Liverpool might not be too firm on their stance to let go of their no.9 next summer as they will look to bring in some cash through their sales to sign other sensational talents like Jadon Sancho or Kylian Mbappe. At the moment, the Brazilian international has a contract at Anfield which keeps him in the English outfit till the summer of 2023.
