Real Madrid plans a transfer raid on Borussia Dortmund’s star attackers as part of the 2021 galactic revolution at the club.
Real Madrid has made their transfer targets clear for next season. No signings were made from the most recent transfer window to save funds for next summer’s massive rebuild. France’s star forward Kylian Mbappe was set to join the club but instead has become the top priority signing for next season alongside his national teammate Eduardo Camavinga.
Although Mbappe has reportedly asked PSG to let him depart next summer, Los Blancos will complement his arrival with a few more attacking signings. As the competition in Europe keeps getting tougher, the La Liga champions have already thought of more potential arrivals.
According to reports, Zinedine Zidane‘s side is looking to hire Borussia Dortmund star Erling Braut-Haaland. The Norwegian international has earned his status as a generational talent with his ongoing barrage of goals. The 20-year-old has now scored 51 goals out of his last 48 matches for club and country, following his hat-trick against Romania in the UEFA Nations League.
The striker’s goalscoring capabilities have already been compared to that of Cristiano Ronaldo himself and would make a more than a perfect replacement to Karim Benzema who is now 32 years old. The sheer explosiveness, pace and the threat in the air would go perfectly with Zidane’s tactics of crossing from the wings. The youngster happens to be the brightest prospect in Europe, surpassed only by the World Cup winning Mbappe and a move to the Spanish capital would be greatly beneficial for the Galactico brand.
With Haaland, Real are also considering buying the forward’s teammate at Dortmund with Giovanni Reyna being another name on the radar. The American attacking midfielder can play on either of the wings and would also prove to be a good replacement for Eden Hazard who has failed to impress since his arrival at the Santiago Bernabeu. Real Madrid has decided to keep close tabs on the 17-year-old as he could also be a signing worth pursuing in the future.
