Real Madrid contemplate landing Tottenham Hotspur’s outcast midfielder at the end of the season on a possible loan deal, according to recent reports.
Tanguy Ndombele of Tottenham Hotspur has been a name linked with most clubs this season after the French midfielder has unfortunately suffered a turbulent debut season in England. Many reports claim that the former Lyon man has been linked with a move to Inter Milan, Barcelona and Real Madrid as the 23-year-old has grown tired of the treatment he has recevied under Jose Mourinho.
Former Manchester United manager, Mourinho, is not an easy manager to work with and given what the Portuguese coach has achieved in his coaching career till date, a sense of proudness follows him wherever he takes over.
Be it Real Madrid, Chelsea, Manchester United or even Inter Milan, Jose Mourinho has had major bust ups with superstar player’s at almost every club he has been at and some of the famous player’s have been Iker Casillas, Cristiano Ronaldo and Paul Pogba.
It seems like Tanguy Ndombele is the next footballer that has entered Jose’s wrong books. The French midfielder signed for Tottenham last summer for a reported figure worth 62 million euros, however, the former Lyon man has sturggled with injuries along with a poor relationship with Mourinho which has severly limited his game-time.
Reports now suggest that Real Madrid have shown serious interest in signing the player on a loan deal at the end of the season. Zinedine Zidane has been a huge admirer of Ndombele as well, the French manager believes that his compatriort would add the much required physicality in the midfield along with Casemiro.
Zindane was eager on either signing Paul Pogba or Tanguy Ndombele last summer, however, Real ended up signing several other players instead. However, since Los Blancos will not be making a move this summer for the 80 million euros priced Eduardo Camavinga, Tottenham’s outcast seems like a better option.
The report from Don Balon states that Real will only sign the player on a loan deal are willing to offer the French midfielder a secondary role at the club as he would rotate with Casemiro who has no natural back up.
Ndombele would certainly been a massive addition at the Santiago Bernabeu, as the former Lyon man is a strong physical midfielder who can play as a centre-midfielder or even as a centre defensive midfielder. The 23-year-old is a brilliant interceptor of the ball and is an ultimate pressing machine that always win possession due to his built and clean tackling skills.
If Tottenham agree to a single year loan deal, Real could have a gem at their hands for an entire season and could then splash big when the loan ends to sign Camavinga.
