Real Madrid are reportedly not happy with Dortmund over the use of their youngster as he is yet to receive a concrete role
Real Madrid has been impressive in recruiting some of the brightest prospects of world football as the likes of Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo Goes and Eder Militao have been excellent during their time at the Spanish capital. The Spanish champions went on to add another talented teenager from Brazil as they signed Reinier Jesus in January for a reported fee of 30 million euros.
Los Blancos have although not provided the 18-year-old forward with a place in their starting lineup and have been more insistent on slotting the player in their Castilla side. The Madrid hierarchy was however in favour of providing the youngster with more exposure to first-team and hence opted to loan out the player to Dortmund in the recently concluded transfer window.
According to AS, there have been reports that Real Madrid is reportedly not happy with Dortmund over the use of the Brazilian teenager as he hasn’t received much game time in the ongoing season. The Bundesliga side has not been efficient in providing enough game time to the youngster as the forward has clocked a mere 105 minutes on the pitch.
BVB coach Lucien Favre has not yet made the best use of Reinier as the player has been limited to a bench role and is yet to receive his first start this season. The 18-year-old got 26 minutes in a game against minnows MSV Duisburg and since then has been given only a handful of minutes at the Signal Iduna Park.
Los Blancos were expecting a better role for the Brazilian teenager as the German side had previously nurtured the growth and development of Achraf Hakimi. If the situation does not improve, the Spanish Champions might reconsider bringing the youngster back to Valdebebas next summer.
Dortmund are second in the Bundesliga as the Black and Yellow outfit has 15 points in six games and are now all set to face Bayern Munich in ‘Die Klassiker’ at home turf on a Friday evening.
