Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are to compete for a Borussia Monchengladbach superstar, according to reports from Sky Sports.
Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are willing to go head to head to compete for Florian Neuhaus of Borussia Monchengladbach next summer transfer market. The 23-year-old midfielder had burst out onto the scene when he was in the second division of the Bundesliga with Fortuna Dusseldorf.
The German midfielder played a crucial role in guiding Fortuna Dusseldorf to a league victory and now has become the engine of Borussia Monchengladbach’s midfield. The 23-year-old offers immense versatility as he can play as a holding midfielder in a double pivot formation or can even go higher up on the fields as an attacking midfielder. His versatile traits have seen him earn the status of being a world-class talent.
His style of play has caught the attention of the two European powerhouses in football. Both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are interested in Florian Neuhaus. However, for Los Blancos, their primary target remains Eduardo Camavinga of Rennes who has already shown serious interest in completing a transfer this summer.
Meanwhile, for the Bavarians, they could sign Neuhaus this summer to add depth along with youth to their squad. In fact, a move to the Allianz Arena would do more good for the 23-year-old as he would get more playing time that would play a crucial role in his selection in the German national team.
Bayern Munich focuses on having their players represent the German national team and a move to the Allianz Arena could be the ticket to the Euros 2021 for Florian Neuhaus. He is currently valued at 23 million euros in the transfer market, however, Borussia Monchengladbach are aware of his potential and will definitely sell Neuhaus for a figure close to 40 million euros or so.
