Tottenham Hotspur are willing to let go off their 24-year-old English attacker
Tottenham Hotspur ace Dele Alli, could be on the move after being left out from the Europa League qualifying squad against Lokomotiv Plovdiv. Reports suggest that the north London club offered Dele Alli as a part of the Gareth Bale deal to Real Madrid. Zinedine Zidane has refused a loan move for the Englishman.
With the potential arrival of Gareth Bale at Tottenham it will be even difficult for the English midfielder to earn game time under Jose Mourinho. However, it is highly unlikely that Tottenham Hotspur will sell a player of his calibre and one who occupies a wage budget as considerable as Alli’s.
Tottenham Hotspur could look forward to loaning the 24-year-old considering the value and talent he possesses. Alli is also one of the best paid players at the club and with the arrival of Bale, a season long loan for Alli could create enough room to fit in the Welsh forward’s wages
The Lilywhites also prefer to loan the Englishman to a foreign club so as to not strengthen a domestic contender. Top European clubs such as Paris Saint Germain and Inter Milan are closely monitoring the Englishman’s situation. Inter Milan manager Antonio Conte has been a long admirer of the 24-year-old attacking midfielder and could possibly use the player to replace Christian Eriksen who has failed to cement a role at the Italian club.
With Jack Grealish coming up the ranks at the England national team, Dele Alli must find his form once again if he is to secure an important role in the squad for the Euro 2020.
