Chelsea are up against Fulham at Craven Cottage in the Premier League. Can the Blue end their poor run of form against the Whites?
Frank Lampard has come under scrutiny following the poor run of fixtures by Chelsea in the Premier League. The Blues have picked up just one win out of their last six fixtures in the English top-flight while dropping points against Arsenal, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Aston Villa, Manchester City, and Everton.
Nonetheless, Chelsea are back in action as they travel to the Craven Cottage to take on Scott Parker‘s Fulham. The Whites have come off an unexpected draw after neutralising Tottenham Hotspur’s attacking threat in their last fixture which ended 1-1. To the Blues advantage, Lampard will have his full squad at disposal but only N’Golo Kante has been ruled out with a suspension from the earlier fixture.
Could Chelsea potentially break his winless streak against Parker’s side? Here is the potential starting eleven that Frank Lampard might use against Fulham.
Edouard Mendy will start in between the sticks despite his recent dip in-form. The back four will consist of Kurt Zouma and Thiago Silva as the two centre-backs along with Benjamin Chilwell and Recce James as the full-backs.
Chelsea’s front three has not been firing all cylinders this season, but Lampard will be hoping that the addition of Hakim Ziyech on the wing could benefit the likes of Tammy Abraham and Timo Werner. The German will operate from the left flank while the English striker will operate from the centre to form the front three. Olivier Giroud could also make an appearance during the second half if the frontline fails to break the deadlock.
