Barcelona are set to travel to Eibar for their final league game of the season after losing out on the title race in their last fixture.
Barcelona are no longer in the title contention for La Liga following their loss against Celta Vigo at Camp Nou. The title race has now narrowed down between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid as two points separate the city rivals on the final matchday.
Nonetheless, the Catalans will be looking to end the season on a high with a win against Eibar, who have already been relegated. Ronald Koeman will be without Ansu Fati, Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Philippe Coutinho for the away trip due to injuries.
Meanwhile, Clement Lenglet is suspended from the fixture after receiving a red card against Celta Vigo. Lionel Messi has also not been included in the match-day squad since the player has been given an early rest to prepare for the upcoming Copa America with Argentina. Pedri has also not been selected for the fixture after being given an early holiday.
Neto is set to make his seventh appearance in La Liga this season as Ter Stegen is out for the next couple of months due to a knee injury. The Brazilian has also been linked with a move to Arsenal at the end of the season and this could be his final fixture in the Blaugrana shirt.
In defence, Koeman will use a three-man backline that would see Samuel Umtiti, Gerard Pique and Ronald Araujo play together. Jordi Alba and Ousmane Dembele played as the wing-backs in the previous league fixture and are expected to start once again on Saturday evening.
In midfield, Sergio Busquets and Frenkie de Jong will form the central midfield partnership. Riqui Puig could also be handed a rare start since the title has already slipped out of the hands of Barcelona.
The front two would see Martin Braithwaite and Antoine Griezmann as the two strikers due to Messi’s absence. Braithwaite and Griezmann could be amongst those who are playing their final game for Barcelona on Saturday evening, having reportedly been sidelined out of Barca’s plan for next season.
