Manchester United are reportedly looking into the possibility of offloading David de Gea as Paris Saint-Germain show serious interest.
Dean Henderson is the first choice goalkeeper for Manchester United at the moment, after David de Gea had to fly back to Spain due to personal reasons, most probably because of the birth of his first child. The Spaniard will be missing at least five games for the Red Devils, including a crucial tie against AC Milan in the Europa League.
Henderson believes he is more than capable of starting between the sticks for the 20-time league champions. The 23-year-old found himself sitting on the bench for the first 8 months of the campaign, which would frustrate him. The Englishman has been under the radar of Borussia Dortmund and Spurs, who consider him as a replacement for Hugo Lloris.
It has been reported that David de Gea might make his way out of Old Trafford in the summer. Paris Saint-Germain are one of the top candidates to secure the services of the Spaniard. The 30-year-old still has two years left on his contract and is expected to cost the French side around 50 million pounds, as reported by The Sun.
Dean Henderson would be desperate for playing time at this stage in his career. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has huge faith in his abilities and is not willing to offload the goalkeeper. He signed a six-year contract with the Red Devils in August last year, earning around £100,000-a-week. I
In this case, Manchester United might consider to transfer out their veteran keeper, David de Gea in the summer. PSG will have to shell out a huge sum of money if they are to land the Spaniard in France, given that he still has two years remaining on his Old Trafford contract.
