Manchester United are looking to rebuild their attack in the summer and have looked at several wingers who could help them look forward.

Manchester United have been on the lookout for a wide player who can occupy either positions on the flanks. Although Jadon Sancho remains their top priority in this window, the Norwegian coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is well aware of the astronomical fees involved in securing the services of the Englishman from Borussia Dortmund this summer.

Manchester United have been reportedly drawing up a shortlist should they fail to land Sancho. Federico Chiesa and Willian have been on the radar but the latest player to be added onto the wish-list of the Premier League giants is Real Sociedad winger Mikel Oyarzabal

The Spain international has had an impressive campaign in the La Liga so far notching up 12 goals and 11 assists so far which have made him one of the most crucial players for the Basque outfit this campaign.

A player who can play on both flanks as an inside forward and drift wide as well, with an excellent creative awareness and an eye for the goal, he is a three dimensional forward which is what Ole Gunnar Solskjaer favours from his front three. It is of no surprise that along with the Citizens, Manchester United have expressed an interest in signing the player.

Oyarzabal has a reported release clause of 70 million pounds with Real Sociedad, although the Red Devils believe they can negotiate the price and sign him for a reported 50 million this summer.

Their primary transfer target remains Jadon Sancho is valued at 120 million pounds and United are well aware that if they fail to match that figure before 10th August, the deal to sign him can be in a real jeopardy. Therefore, it is no surprise the Red Devils have started drawing up a list of potential transfer targets should they fail in the pursuit of Jadon Sancho.

Will Oyarzabal be a good signing for Manchester United?
