Manchester United star receives interest from Barcelona and Real Madrid as both clubs eye for a move next summer

Manchester United have had a fitting third-place finish in the Premier League last season as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s side showed great improvement in the latter half of the league campaign. A lot of experts believe that the arrival of Bruno Fernandes in the winter transfer window helped the club to improve their performances and had given them much needed boost to the depleted side.

The former Sporting Lisbon talisman has had impressive figures for the English outfit since his arrival in January as the midfielder made 14 appearances in the Premier League scoring 8 goals and providing 7 assists at his new club. The Portuguese international has become an undisputed starter in the United lineup with his powerful performances on the pitch.

In the ongoing season, Fernandes is already off to a flying start personally as the player has raked in three goals and two assists in the first four games of the league. On the contrary, the Red Devils have been poor at the back which altogether has left the club reeling at 14th position in the league table.

Their humiliating defeat against Tottenham drew a lot of criticism from various experts as Ole’s side were thrashed by the Lilywhites at home. Spurs put six past United as the hosts put up an erratic defensive display against Mourinho’s side. After the match, there were reports of a rift between Bruno and the United boss, but recently in an interview, the midfielder cleared all the rumours of their “alleged” fight and dismissed the reports as false.

According to recent developments, it has been claimed that Barcelona and Real Madrid are interested to sign the Portuguese international next summer as both clubs feel the rumoured altercation can help their cause in landing one of the prized assets of the Red Devils.

Ole’s side has series of tough fixtures heading their way this month as the English side due to face teams like PSG, Chelsea, Leipzig. The next couple of weeks will be vital for the Norwegian boss as his team will look to build a good foundation for their ongoing season.
