Manchester United have reignited their interest in the Jadon Sancho as they look forward to signing three players from Borussia Dortmund.
Manchester United are expected to have a busy summer transfer window with several players under their radar all across Europe. Their three main targets for the summer are from Germany and play for the same club, Borussia Dortmund. The Red Devils have reignited their interest in Jadon Sancho whom they wanted to sign last year as well, however, the deal never went through.
Dortmund stars, Erling Haaland and Manuel Akanji are the latest additions to Manchester United’s wish list for the summer. As reported by 90 min, the Red Devils will offer Donny van de Beek in any transfer the club undertakes this season in order to keep the finances in check. The Dutch midfielder was signed by United for a sum of 40 million pounds in the last summer window but has failed to break into the starting lineup.
Van de Beek has started just two Premier League games for Manchester United this season and has been kept out of the starting lineup by the likes of Scott McTominay and Fred. The report adds that Borussia Dortmund is not the only club, the Red Devils have been in contact with. Since Manchester United are planning a summer raid on the German side, Van de Beek can be a part of the deal.
However, United are not desperate to let go of the midfielder without giving him another chance to prove his worth. But, If the club are to finance three mega transfers this summer, then they will certainly have to let go of a few players.
Erling Haaland is expected to be valued at over 100 million euros, whereas, Jadon Sancho will also cost the Red Devils a similar amount of money. With Manuel Akanji also under the club’s radar, it looks highly unlikely that the club can sign all the three stars at one go in the summer.
