Sport BILD reports that Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund are in advanced talks over the possible signing of Jadon Sancho.

Since the resumption of football, Manchester United has been brilliant, managing to finish third in the league and clinching a spot in the Champions League. The addition of Portuguese star Bruno Fernandes to the team and with the improving performances of the youngsters have made this change possible.

However, the Red Devils still lack a title-winning defense and are yet to sign a replacement for goalkeeper David De Gea whose performances have just gone downhill and a partner for their star defender Harry Maguire. United still has a long way to go before being considered one of the best in Europe but under coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, they are on the right track.

One of the biggest transfer targets of this summer is Borussia Dortmund’s winger Jadon Sancho, the youngster has been excellent this season, racking up goals and assists for the German side. The flair and vision that the 20-year-old brings to the team are remarkable and Ole’s side is currently in the market for such a player.

There have been many speculations regarding the Englishman’s transfer, from Manchester United being the front runners which quickly changed, as Liverpool emerged as the new favorites as the player preferred the Reds as he had a greater chance of lifting a trophy with them.

This saga continues as new reports are stating that Dortmund is expecting United to pay the full transfer fee of 120 million euros for the Englishman but in installments, according to Christian Falk of BILD. The Premier League side has been given a deadline of the 10th of August to finalize the offer.

It is uncertain where the Bundesliga man will end up next season, with numerous clubs racing to sign the youngster, but one thing is sure, any team would benefit greatly with the addition of such talent in the squad.
