Likely Liverpool starters for the fixture against Fulham at Anfield

Liverpool will look to end the barren home run with a much-needed win against struggling Fulham ahead of a crucial Champions League match

Struggling Premier League champions Liverpool will take on Fulham this Sunday, and the Reds will hope to end their wretched run of home form. Jurgen Klopp’s side are yet to win at home in 2021 and have lost a record five games in a row at Anfield. Their most recent defeat came against Chelsea on Thursday.

Alisson who returned to the lineup last time will keep his place and hope to keep a clean sheet at home after a long time. Trent Alexander -Arnold and Andy Robertson will start in their respective position providing the usual endeavour and thrust down the flanks. Phillips and Fabinho will play as center backs as Jordan Henderson has been ruled out with an injury. They are both aerially strong and will look to ward off the threat provided by Aleksandar Mitrovic and Josh Maja.

Naby Keita is another Liverpool player hoping to make his first start in some time, too. The Guinean talisman came off the bench at Bramall Lane and will hope for a more prominent role on Sunday. Keita will come in and complete an experienced midfield triumvirate alongside Thiago Alcantara and Gini Wijnaldum.

With Diogo Jota just coming back from injury the usual fearsome front 3 will start for Liverpool. Mohamed Salah coming from breaking records in Europe will hope to continue that in the league. Sadio Mane will hope to return to form against Fulham after a disappointing goalscoring this season. Roberto Firmino will provide his work rate and creativity in the attack to add firepower to the attack.

Reds will look to go into the Champions League with RB Leipzig on the back of a morale-boosting win against Fulham.
