Liverpool are expecting a much more difficult road to the Premier League’s summit in 2020/21 and have plotted a surprising transfer ahead of summer.

Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey is looking to move to the Premier League with Liverpool being a potential destination, over the summer and the 22-year-old is now currently working with Raheem Sterling’s agency to finalize a move, according to Sky Sports

Leon Bailey is left footed and has an immense amount of pace. With fantastic technical abilities, the winger has the potential to reach the level of top wingers by the time he is in his late 20s. Covering the left flank for Leverkusen, the winger has been more than sensational for the Germans and will be a great addition to any team but over this season the youngster’s decision-making has been slack.

Yet, there have been many players struggling to make the right decisions in tough situations and by correct coaching that can be solved, for example, Raheem Sterling under Pep Guardiola became Manchester City’s go-to man in many occasions.

The winger will certainly be great under good coaching with all that raw talent. A successful crosser and an adept finisher, Leon Bailey is a an absolute gem if played under the right conditions.

Bailey has been observed by scouts from both the Manchester clubs, Liverpool and Everton of late. The Jamaican is a menacing young talent and with the departure of Leroy Sane, Manchester City could be looking at the winger as the ideal replacement for a small amount of 30 million euros. Bailey would be a great addition for Manchester United too if they fail to land Jadon Sancho.

The Red Devils are coming across several complications in their move for Sancho and Borussia Dortmund’s CEO has stated that the winger will not be sold for anything under 115 million euros. This impasse can be the way to a much more economical and practical solution for the outfit.

Liverpool however have made urgency over the winger’s potential transfer and will look to sanction a move for him sooner than thought thanks to several other clubs looking at Kai Havertz instead. With Sadio Mane continuously linked with exits, the Jamaican is one for the future.

Jurgen Klopp is thought to be an ideal gaffer for the player given the number of chances the former Dortmund manager gives to the younger players in the squad. Moreover, with a dynasty being developed at the Anfield by him, Bailey is more likely than not to be the latest addition.
