Juventus are eager on resigning Moise Kean after the player has failed to adapt to life with Everton in the Premier League
Andrea Pirlo of Juventus is on the lookout for a striker after the club confirmed the departure of Gonzalo Higuain to David Beckham’s Inter Miami. The Bianconeri have been linked with Luis Suarez and Edin Dzeko for the past few weeks, however, there has been no confirmation as of yet.
It has now been reported that the Zebre are considering to resign Moise Kean. The youngster had left Juventus in the summer of 2019 for Everton in search of more game-time. However, Kean failed to settle down in England nor did he adapt well to the demands of the Premier League.
In his first season, the Italian forward played just 800 minutes in the Premier League and scored two goals. Fast forward to the new season, Moise Kean has played just 15 minutes in the league in the last two fixtures. Calvert Lewin’s recent hot run of form, scoring four goals in two games means that Kean will most likely not feature under Carlo Ancelotti this season as well.
The 20-year-old is eager on playing regularly and Andrea Pirlo is an admirer of the youngster. Meanwhile, the Bianconeri have kept close tabs on Luis Suarez and the 33-year-old forward has reportedly cleared his Italian language exam to apply for citizenship.
Edin Dzeko has also been kept on standby if the Suarez deal fails to materialise. The former Manchester City foward has even agreed to personal terms with Juve. However, if both the shortlisted strikers fail to sign for the club, Juventus will go all out for Moise Kean.
Moise Kean had scored six goals in five starts for the Italians in the 2018/19 season in the Serie A. The 20-year-old is hoping to replicate the same form once again. The forward has been valued at just 25 million euros and Everton is open to the idea of selling the player. Andrea Pirlo must act soon if he is to sign a striker this summer.
