Juventus aims to make the best out of the Dybala situation if they fail to land a contract extension for the 26-year-old

Paulo Dybala has been one of the most reliable players in the Juventus squad since he arrived from Palermo in the summer of 2015 for a sum of 40 million euros. However, the Argentinian forward has struggled to find his rhythm due to injuries for the past few months now.

Juventus has started their new campaign in mediocre fashion under their new coach Andrea Pirlo as they have only managed to win two fixtures out of the possible four, placing them fifth on the Serie A table. On the other hand, the Italian manager has elected to keep out the Argentine star out of the opening fixtures.

Reports suggest that the Argentine attacker vented his anger and frustration at the club officials after he was dropped from the starting line-up against the Crotone. To make matters worse, the 26-year-old started the Champions League match against Dinamo Kyiv from the bench and went on to play 33 minutes for the Bianconeri.

Since he arrived at Juventus, the 26-year-old has managed to score 95 goals and record 38 assists in 229 appearances. With only 18 months on his current deal with the Italian champions, the Bianconeri would try everything to keep Dybala at the club but they don’t rule out the possibility of trading him to another club for much-needed finances.

According to the reports, the London side Chelsea is closely monitoring Dybala’s situation at the Italian outlet and is willing to make a move for him in the coming months. Argentine‘s struggles at Juventus could create room for negotiations among the two clubs.

Chelsea’s recent struggles in the Premier League and Champions League strongly suggest that the club might look to bring in more talent in order to deal with the disappointments as they continue their journey to bag the Premier League title this season.

The 5-time Premier League winners managed to spend over 200 million pounds in the summer transfer window which saw them revamp their attack and midfield by bringing in players such as Timo Werner, Kai Havertz, and Hakim Ziyech. Adding a player of Dybala’s quality would certainly boost their chances of accomplishing their aim this season.
