Juventus are considering a potential departure of their Italian forward to Manchester United in the coming winter transfer market
The 2020/21 Serie A season could possibly see Juventus win their 10th consecutive scudetto. However, under the new management of Andrea Pirlo, the Bianconeri have not started their league campaign on the best note. Juve has just won three games so far out of the six that have been played and are currently placed third on the table while AC Milan continues leading the charts.
Reports from Italy state that Juventus are ready to strike a deal with Manchester United over the sale of Federico Bernadeschi. The Italian right-winger has fallen down the pecking order at the Allianz Stadium as Andrea Pirlo prefers using debutant Dejan Kulusevski and Federico Chiesa.
26-year-old Federico Bernadeschi certainly would not want to warm the bench for the rest of the season and has considered a move out of Turin. The former Fiorentina winger is on contract with the Bianconeri until the summer of 2022, however, the club and the player have decided to part ways in the coming winter transfer market.
Manchester United are in the dire need of a right-winger and could make use of Bernabdeschi until the sign their main target, Jadon Sancho. The Italian international could be an ideal alternative for the time being and is a better option than Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele who has also been linked with a move to Old Trafford.
Dembele is certainly a better player, however, his injuries and lack of discipline make his unattractive deal when compared to the 26-year-old Juventus winger. Bernadeschi is currently valued at 25 million euros and given the price tag, the plausible signing of the Italian seems to be an ideal situation.
Juventus are set to face Ferencvaros in the Champions League next and Andrea Pirlo could possibly provide Federico Berandeschi more game time given the lack of involvement he has had this season.
