Juventus and Arsenal working on an exchange deal that will involve French Stars.

Juventus are interested in securing a new striker to replace Gonzalo Higuain and relieve some pressure off of Cristiano Ronaldo.

Raul Jiménez and  Alexandre Lacazette are at the top of their wishlist for the upcoming summer window. The Wolves will be extremely tough negotiators and hence, Juventus have now focused their attention towards securing a deal for Lacazette from Arsenal.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, a financial deal will be difficult which has already led Juventus to complete one transfer deal involving Miralem Pjanic and Arthur Melo. Similarly, they are planning an exchange deal with the Blues involving Adrien Rabiot and Lacazette according to Italian publication Calciomercato.

The Premier League side have been admirers of Rabiot and have been keeping tabs on him ever since his youth days at PSG. They were also interested in a loan deal for Rabiot in the January transfer season but the player at that time was not interested in moving out of Turin.

Rabiot has drawn a lot of criticism from fans and pundits on his lackluster performances. However, after the lockdown, he has been in fine form and has been a regular name on the team sheet.

After the recent signing of Arthur Melo and the impressive development of Rodrigo Bentancur, the Italian side are potentially going for Chelsea midfielder Jorginho, meaning minutes on the football pitch will not be easy to come for Rabiot.

Multiple reports in Italy and France have suggested that Lacazette has now emerged as the primary target for Juventus. Sarri is a huge admirer of the 29-year-old and is looking for a striker who can hold up the ball and link-up play between the midfielders and the attackers.

With the recent impressive run of Arsenal under Mikel Arteta and a long-term project being implemented, Arsenal would be a good potential destination for Rabiot who will be looking to get his form back before the Euros.

With the Gunners potentially having no chance of competing in European football, there are suggestions that Lacazette is looking for Champions League aspirations to win trophies. With Euros 2021 on the horizon, he will be looking to play for a top team in Europe in order to have the best chances to secure a spot on the French national team.
