Juventus and Inter Milan explore the option of landing a Barcelona superstar on loan next summer transfer market

Since the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus, every time the Serie A giants have advanced further than the group stage of the UEFA Champions League, there has only been one name on the team’s scoresheet and that is of the Portuguese superstar. The side has been struggling with creativity in the midfield and their attacking prowess, and with the oncoming of Andrea Pirlo as the new head coach, a change will be expected from the Bianconeri.

Though the Italian manager has made a few changes in the middle of the park, the search for prolific forwards still continues. Former player Alvaro Morata joined the club on a loan deal but that remains to be a more of a temporary solution rather than a permanent one which Pirlo is looking for. To the Zebre’s misfortune, no candidate has been identified as of yet to fix those problems but they are looking into the loan of a star forward in Europe as another temporary fix.

According to reports, Barcelona’s 120 million euro flop signing Antoine Griezzmann might be on his way away from the Camp Nou on a loan, with Juventus and Inter Milan being top destinations for the Frenchman. This move comes courtesy of an interview where the 29-year-old stated that his international manager Didier Deschamps knows how and where to play him, indirectly pointing to the fact that Ronald Koeman does not play the Frenchman to his ability and preference.

The Dutch manager did respond to this by saying that he cannot afford to play ten players at the same position, but this exchange may be leading to le Petit Prince’s exit from the Catalan club. Another opportunity for him to explore aside Juventus would be their league rivals Inter Milan. Antonio Conte looks keen on bringing the World Cup winner to the San Siro, but nothing has been finalised as of yet.

With offers riling up for Lautaro Martinez, Inter might opt to attain the services of the Frenchman, however, Juventus still continue to be the favourites in the race to bring in Griezmann.
