Paris Saint-Germain are considering to sign Christian Eriksen of Inter Milan who has failed to adapt to Antonio Conte‘s system
The subject of Christian Eriksen has been one hot topic for Inter Milan fans who are puzzled about his current situation. Eriksen arrived from Spurs last year and hasn’t really troubled the scorers much. With the fine form that he is in now, he presents Conte with a crucial decision to make; i.e, to either cash in on Dane’s fine form or to let him go in January. By the looks of it, it does seem the latter is going to come into play.
PSG could be one destination for Christian Eriksen in the new year as Inter continue to debate whether to sell the playmaker, per Sport Mediaset. The Denmark international has arguably not met expectations in Italy since his move from Tottenham and looks set for an early exit from San Siro.
Chelsea reportedly passed on him ahead of the recent transfer deadline, but the Ligue 1 supremos could be a destination with sporting director Leonardo apparently keen on his talents. There was a rumored swap deal proposition from Inter involving Eriksen and N’Golo Kante but the Blues decided to take a hard pass. It is clear in Conte’s system and that is, perform or perish.
While they may be right in deciding to sell Eriksen on account of the 28-year-old’s ability to cash in on the opportunities that were given to him when he first arrived, they ought to try again. In all reality, Inter has time until the end of December to decide the fate of the attacking midfielder. PSG is set to be his next rumored destination but the transfer fee remains unknown. One can safely assume that the transfer fee might not exceed 25-30 million pounds.
While Inter lost in the Milan derby, Eriksen looked confident with the ball and he might be one of the very few positives that the Nerazzurri decide to take away from the game. Only time will tell the fate of the former Spurs attacking midfielder and his future whereabouts.
