Inter Milan ponder over a move for Juventus outcast this summer

Inter Milan eye a potential swap with rivals, Juventus which could secure them services of the Italian goalkeeper.

Mattia Perin was impressive in the weekend clash against Inter Milan on Sunday. Currently on loan from Juventus, Perin is serving a second spell at Genoa. After having being battered by injuries in the recent years, the Italian goalkeeper will look forward to return to top form. Perin is just 28 years old, and has a bright future ahead of him, provided that he remains injury-free.

Serie A leaders, Inter Milan are reportedly interested in signing Mattia Perin in the summer. The Italian was close to signing for the club in the past, before his career was derailed by his first serious knee injury. However, Perin is owned by the defending Italian champions, which further complicates the deal.

Inter Milan are considering a potential exchange with the Old Lady. They are expected to offer the Italian midfielder, Matias Vecino who has found it difficult to break into the starting lineup at Inter. With Juventus expected to bolster their midfield in the summer, Vecino can prove to be a good signing and can provide the Bianconeri with a dynamic option.

The swap is expected to amount to in close quarters of 15 million euros, however, both clubs would consider making capital gains on this deal.

Samir Handanovic continues to do the job very well between the sticks for Inter Milan. He is expected to remain Inter’s number one goalkeeper for the coming season as well. The Slovenian has been at the club since 2012 and has made 317 appearances so far.

However, Handanovic turns 37 this year and Inter Milan will look for his replacement in the future. The signing of Mattia Perin this year seems unlikely as the Italian would look to accumulate some playing time under his belt, before he can make his move to Inter Milan, possibly next year.
