Tottenham Hotspur are now slated to face Crystal Palace next in the Premier League as they host the Eagles on home soil.
After a scrape through victory against Fulham, Tottenham Hotspur are back in action in the Premier League against Crystal Palace. Jose Mourinho takes on Roy Hodgson’s side who have been rather inconsistent from most part of this season. Currently, the Eagels are placed 13th on the table and have just one win in their last five league fixtues which came in a hard fought win against Burnley.
On the flipside, Tottenham seem to be picking pace after going through a dry patch recently. A comfortable victory against Burnley followed by another three points against Fulham has certainly helped boast the morale of the north London team. The fixture against Palace will be an important one for both sides as Spurs need to win their remaining games in a bid to make it into the top four and the visitors need to somehow make it into the top eight.
For the Lilywhites, Hugo Lloris will once again start in goal after keeping his 101th cleansheet in the Premier League in the previous fixute against Fulham. The defence would see Toby Alderweireld and Davinson Sanchez as the two centre-backs along with Sergio Reguilon and Serge Aurier as the two full-backs to provide support on both ends of the field.
With Moussa Sissoko looking fitter than ever since his injury, it is expected that Mourinho would slot the Frenchman alongside Pierre-Emile Hojberg in the heart of the midfield to form the double pivot. The central attacking midfielder would be Dele Alli who has been in rather fine form lately.
The front three would once again consist of Harry Kane as the striker, Son Heung-min as the left-winger and in form Gareth Bale on the right. The attacking trio should click against Crystal Palace who currently have a wobbly defence. If the attacking trio fails to break the deadlock, then Jose Mourinho has other options from his wide Arsenal range of attackers. Player such as Erik Lamela and Lucas Moura could be introduced later to make an impact if need be.
