Barcelona have reportedly overtaken Juventus in a bid to sign Adama Traore of Wolverhampton Wanderers next summer transfer window
Adama Traore of Wolverhampton Wanderers has become a wanted man by several top clubs around Europe. The former Barcelona winger has been linked with clubs such as Manchester City, Liverpool, Manchester United, Juventus, and has even been linked with a return to Camp Nou. However, so far the Spanish winger has his attention towards achieving success with Wolves and securing a regular spot in the Spanish national team.
It is not surprising that Adama Traore has been linked with such reputed clubs around Europe as the Spaniard brings a whole new level of threat from the wings. Traore’s blistering pace and physicality make him an unstoppable force and the player is currently the best dribbler in the Premier League with 11.87 successful dribbles per game that has smashed the previous record of 5 dribbles per game held by Eden Hazard.
Juventus, in particular, are on the lookout for a right-winger and believe that Adama Traore is the man to add that lethal pace in their starting eleven. Andrea Pirlo currently has Dejan Kulusevski and Federico Bernardeschi as his right-wingers. However, the Italian coach is looking for a more experienced and better attacker than his current options and Traore seems to be the one.
Although Juve has shown a great deal of interest to sign the Spanish winger, reports state that Barcelona are currently better poised in the race to sign the Premier League man. The Catalans are also on the lookout for a right-winger as Antoine Griezmann has been nothing short of a disaster for the Blaugrana and Fransico Trincao is still too young to be regular starter for Barca.
The Catalans will attempt to sign their former player next summer and could possibly boast a frontline of Ansu Fati, Adama Traore, and Memphis Depay if they manage to sign the Dutchman in the upcoming winter transfer market.
