Arsenal rejoice over the news from the Santiago Bernabeu regarding Ceballos

Ever since Mikel Arteta has taken over Arsenal as the head coach, the Gunners have been on a different note since then. The 2019/20 season seemed like to be another horrible unforgettable season for the fans at the Emirates Stadium, however, Arteta’s tactics and vision for his former club has provided a ray of hope for the north London side.

The Spanish coach has already drawn up a list of players he wants out next season and a list of players he wants in despite the limited transfer budget. Mikel Arteta has been highly impressed by Dani Ceballos of Real Madrid, the loanee has shown his potential at the Premier League since his debut game, however, remaining consistent has been a serious issue for the former Real Betis midfielder.

The resumption of the Premier League has seen a different Dani Ceballos, in fact, a more consistent version of the Spanish creative midfielder. His world-class performance against Manchester City in the semi-final of the FA Cup proved to be pivotal for the Gunners to make it to the final. Ceballos was just something else that game and his performance outdid that of Kevin De Bruyne‘s in the semi-final.

The Express reports that there is good news from the Santiago Bernabeu as Real Madrid have permitted their midfielder to stay at the Emirates for another season on loan. Zinedine Zidane is not the biggest fan of the Spaniard and another year on loan would be best for all the three parties involved.

Ceballos certainly would not want to return to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer due to his relationship with Zidane. This season has proven the fact that if you’re not on the good books of the French manager then the bench is your best friend. James Rodriguez, Luka Jovic, and Gareth Bale could be considered as the ideal examples.

However, Pep Guardiola of Manchester City has been highly impressed by Dani Ceballos and the Catalan coach expressed his admiration for the midfielder by stating that he was in love with his capabilities and would love to have him in his side.

Dani Ceballos will not return to Real Madrid this summer and the player will most likely continue under Arteta, however, a switch to the Etihad still cannot be written off the table.
