Arsenal plot a grand transfer for Real Madrid’s lethal striker

Real Madrid are planning on a massive downsizing this summer and have planned on generating roughly 200 million euros by selling players to improve their current financial position that was affected severely due to the COVID-19 outbreak all over Europe. The Los Blancos are in touch with several Premier League clubs including Manchester United and Arsenal to offload their unwanted footballers this summer.

The Los Blancos are on the way to win their 34th Spanish League title this season after Zinedine Zidane has worked his magic into transforming the same downtrodden squad of the 2018/19 into a championship-winning squad.

Although the French manager has made a few notable signings this summer including the likes of Eden Hazard of Chelsea, Luka Jovic, and Ferland Mendy, however, only Mendy has been influential this season for the Whites as Hazard and Jovic have barely made an impact this season.

Eden Hazard has played roughly over one thousand minutes in the league with just one goal to his name so far which is quite poor for his standard meanwhile, the Serbian goalscorer Luka Jovic has struggled with game-time this season as he has played just 400 minutes so far in the league with two goals to his name.

Jovic was signed as the goal scorer for Real Madrid as they were in a dire need of one after losing Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus who would score 40 goals season for the Los Blancos. Unfortunately, life at the Santiago Bernabeu has not worked out for Jovic since Karim Benzema has been unstoppable this season and it seems like Zidane himself is not very impressed by the Serbian player.

The former Bundesliga man scored 17 goals in the 2018/19 Bundesliga season for Frankfurt and even carried his club to the semi-final of the Europa League with 10 goals to his name, however, his former side fell short to Eden Hazard’s Chelsea that eventually won the competition against Arsenal.

Rumours now claim that Real Madrid is now open to selling Luka Jovic and Arsenal reportedly shown interest and have been given the green light to snatch the Serbian striker. The Gunners find themselves in a serious situation as the future of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is up in the air along with his striker partner Alexander Lacazette.

Luka Jovic has been considered as the ideal replacement and the former Bundesliga man would certainly be a success at the Emirates Stadium. Apart from being absolute clinical in the box, Jovic possesses fine technical skills that can play a pivot role under Mikel Arteta’s style of possession.

The Real Madrid man has the capability to pass the ball well and his assist this season to Casemiro in the La Liga Santander was proof of the flicks and tricks the Serbian has up his sleeve during build-up play. Jovic is fast, explosive, strong, quick-footed, and can strike a ball like no other using both his feet and is equally good in the air despite his height.

There is absolutely no reason as to why the Serbian would not be a success for Arsenal in the Premier League. If Real Madrid does sell Jovic this season, do you reckon the Los Blancos have been too hasty with their decision and that they might regret it later on in life?
