Liverpool returned to winning ways again after an impressive home victory against the high flying Leicester City side. The Reds was dominant from start to finish and rarely allowed Leicester any clear cut chances.
Both sides came into this one with depleted squads. Jurgen Klopp’s side were flawless at home this season and Leicester likewise away from home. In the end, it was Liverpool who extended their PL home record to 64 matches.

FIRMINO FINALLY SHINES AT ANFIELD
Roberto Firmino came into this match on the back of impressive goalscoring performances for Brazil. With Salah out Firmino had extra creative responsibility on his shoulders and he duly delivered. Firmino was a live wire last night and threatened multiple times with his linkup play and creativity.
Firmino capped off his brilliant performances with a goal at the end from a superb header. The goal was celebrated by all Liverpool players which showed how much it means to them and the player. They would hope that it gives Firmino much needed confidence boost going ahead in the season.
