RIQUI PUIG SHOWS RONALD KOEMAN WHY HE MUST PLAY MORE OFTEN
Riqui Puig was brought on in the 91st minute and played a total of 30 minutes. During those 30 minutes, Puig seemed to be the difference-maker for the Catalans as he attempted to carry the ball forward every chance he received. The 21-year-old completed three out of three dribbles while also maintaining a 94% pass accuracy rate.
During the penalty shootout, Puig insisted to take a penalty and rightly scored the winning goal to seal a 3-2 win for Barcelona in the semi-final. Ronald Koeman could reconsider his opinion on Puig and could make an attempt of handing the player more minutes for the rest of the season.

BARCELONA STRUGGLED WITHOUT LIONEL MESSI
Lionel Messi missed out the fixture due to an injury that he picked up on matchday while training. Nonetheless, the 33-year-old absence was greatly felt. Barca seemed clueless while attacking and several chances were plundered as well. Their nine-match extended run of unbeaten games has been mostly because of the impact that Messi has had by revitalising his form.
One fixture without the Argentine and it seemed like the Catalans were going to lose. Had it not been for the heroics of Marc-Andre ter Stegen then it certainly would have been painted a different story. Barca are still heavily reliant on Messi and this dependency needs to change as soon as possible for the better.
